My Three Greatest Strengths
Hello, My name is Bruce Jellison, I am currently a Junior at Hartland High School in MI and was a Varsity starter, playing 3rd base my freshman and sophomore year. Currently I am playing travel ball for the Michigan Blue Jays 16U Elite team out of Ypsilanti. Having the opportunities to play on these high-level teams has greatly increased my baseball IQ. I am an outstanding 3rd baseman with an excellent swing. Other than playing 3B I have seen some time at SS and 2B. My coaches have used me on the mound as well. Baseball is my life. I truly respect the game. My goals have always been to be an exceptional person, an excellent student and outstanding ball player. I believe these consistent goals will help reach my long-term goal of playing baseball at the highest level. When not on the field I enjoy camping, hunting and fishing. Along with playing baseball for my high school, I have also been part of my school’s archery team. I enjoy spending time with my two older sisters, who have always been my biggest fans. My parents have supported my dreams of playing baseball since tee-ball, and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love and support. I have played travel baseball since 8U and have learned a great deal from my past and current coaches. There are many players out there with similar goals, but I have learned, and developed, a work ethic that I feel sets me apart from most. I need to be dedicated and stay committed to outworking these players or they will pass me up and I will no longer be able to compete. Having a high baseball IQ, strong work ethic, dedication and drive has turned me into a valuable teammate with solid leadership qualities. It is my hope that these qualities help me reach the next level. Respectfully – Bruce Jellison Class of 2022 Hartland High, Hartland MI Jellisonbruce11@gmail.com (248)895-7936
