My Three Greatest Strengths
I believe that a college coach should recruit me because of my work ethic, baseball IQ, and winning mentality. At practice, I am locked in at all times, giving it my all in order to improve each and every day. In the weight room, I push myself to become stronger in order to refine my physical skills. Outside of practice, I work every day, hitting, doing my arm bands, and keeping my body ready to perform at all times. I am one of the hardest and most consistent workers on the team. This will translate to the classroom, where my number one focus is getting good grades. You will never need to worry about my grades; I have maintained an A average all throughout high school. Furthermore, on the field, my baseball IQ is unmatched among my teammates and competitors. I pride myself on always being mentally prepared and thinking ahead to what I will do with the ball when it is in my hands. My teammates and coaches can count on me to make the right play. Lastly, my winning mentality and competitive spirit sets me apart from others. I am always looking for ways to get better, and am always willing to absorb and apply information that a coach passes along to me. I want to be the best version of myself possible, so I will be very coachable and competitive. You can count on me being the most competitive person on the team, doing whatever it takes to win and get better. A college coach that recruits me will be getting a responsible, dedicated, and persevering person, player, and teammate.
Why a College Coach Should Recruit Me
I am looking for a college that pushes me athletically and academically. I am also looking for one with a developmental style that gets the best out of their players. I also would like to play for a college that has developed a winning culture and attitude. I do not have a preference when it comes to geographic location.
Preferred Type of College Program
My three greatest strengths are my competitive mentality, love for the game, and leadership. On the field, I am the most competitive player on the team. I am willing to do put in the effort it takes to win and be successful. I feel that this competitiveness also leads into my mental toughness. No matter the challenge or obstacle in my way, I am give it all I have in order to persevere past this roadblock. My love for the game is unmatched compared to others around me. I truly enjoy every moment of the game. I never take a game for granted as I know that nothing is guaranteed. This love ensures that I am giving it my all, and never taking a play off. I also have a great desire to be a leader on the field and off. On the field, I work hard to make those around me better, in order for us to be the most successful team possible. Off the field, I work to provide an example for those around me, on how to be a good citizen, student, and individual.
