SCOUTING REPORT
02/23/2020 - Accelerated College PREP - Parker (Denver), CO
Nolan is an athletic SS/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Nolan shows fluid footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a low, athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed and good extension, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. On the mound, Nolan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works inline towards the plate and extends through his release, finishing square to his target. Nolan shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph. Breaking ball sits from 64-65mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Nolan is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he continues to progress.
